This is a fantastic opportunity for HR professionals who are currently working at HRBP or Advisor level or a HR Officer who is ready to progress to the next stage of their career. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to build and maintain strong business relationships within your stakeholder group and be an integral part of the team. You will provide coaching and support to your link areas and will help develop an expert understanding of people management and ensure that the service and the needs of our stakeholders align. You will have an understanding of supporting the implementation of HR initiatives including business planning, organisational design, workforce planning, strategic resourcing, capability management, change management and employee engagement.

The purpose of the role is to work closely with the link areas to focus on Employee Relation aspects, core HR functions, organisational and people capability building, longer term resource and talent management planning, using business insights to drive change in people management practices and advising on various aspects of people management.

As a HRBP you will work with specific faculty and business support areas in the College and support transactional and certain strategic aspects of the people management agenda within those groups and as required across the college. In carrying out their work the HRBP will be part of a cohort of 4 HRBPs and report to the Head of HR and Payroll.

  • Have demonstrable experience of looking after a range of ER cases with minimal support
  • Experience working in a medium or large organisation
  • Have a clear understanding of people strategy
  • In depth knowledge of employment law
  • Have exposure to modifying policies and procedures in line with employment law
  • CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards
