Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield, Newcastle and Penrith.
We are now looking to recruit for a Learning and Development Assistant to join us to provide varied and general administrative support to the Learning and Development Manager. This is a part time role to cover 18.5 hours per week over four days.
Supporting the learning and development processes by co-ordinating training events, making suitable logistical arrangements and record keeping, you must input learning data to the learning management system and prepare training resource packs; supporting the L&D Manager with the promotion of staff development opportunities and producing resources related to training.
Maintaining the College’s integrated learning management system, you will provide administrative support for various L&D processes including processing training requests, coordinating induction process and probation procedures and liaising with external training providers and third parties regarding matters of staff development as appropriate.
Bringing their experience in providing excellent customer service and developing documents to meet a variety of needs, candidates will ideally have experience of working in an office environment or a setting where maintaining confidentially is paramount. A competent user of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, you should have strong administrative and clerical skills and a highly organised approach to work.
