Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield, Newcastle and Penrith.
We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness, Uniformed Public Services, Veterinary Nursing and Hair and Beauty.
As part of their Study Programme, our students will undertake work experience, enrichment and student CPD. We are working towards the centralisation of all these elements of the Study Programme in order to deliver a vibrant programme that will enhance the lifelong employability skills of our students.
We are looking for a highly organised individual to lead a team to deliver high quality work experience and work placement, professional development, student CPD and enrichment to support student progress as part of a brand new programme.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a thorough knowledge of work experience processes, tutorial and enrichment in Further Education, T-Levels and previous teaching/mentoring/coaching experience, you will have a strong understanding of delivering and co-ordinating high standards of student support.
This is brand new and very exciting role requiring a creative, organised and approachable individual with outstanding communication skills to offer strong leadership and management for your team.
Successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS check.
