Finance Clerk (SS059)
We are seeking a Finance Clerk to support the Finance Office with daily functions within the areas of Purchase Ledger, Cash Office and Sales Ledger. The main focus of this role is to work with the Purchase Ledger for the College.
The Finance Clerk will be required to process and administer the raising of purchase orders on the College's Finance system and ensure all purchases are in line with College procedures. They will ensure all Purchase Ledger invoices are scanned on the system on a daily basis, take telephone calls and answer queries from internal and external customers. They will also deal with reconciling of Purchase Card statements and assist the Management Accounts Team to create and post month end journals.
The Finance Clerk will also work in the Cash Office, paying petty cash and taking payments from both staff and students.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of online purchase order systems, and use of computerised accounts systems. Previous experience of working within a busy finance environment and cash handling experience are essential.
