Accommodation and Conference Assistant
18.5 hours per week, fixed term contact until 30th September 2019.
Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield, Newcastle and Penrith.
We are looking for a part time Accommodation and Conference Assistant to join us where you will provide an efficient and effective administrative service in relation to student’s accommodation, conferences and events held at the college.
Assisting with the allocation of accommodation, you will provide administrative support, including data entry and information retrieval, whilst maintaining key stock for residencies and undertaking key audits as required.
Providing general information and advice about College accommodation, including tours of residences, you will co-ordinate events, meet and greet clients on event day and communicate with a variety of staff across the College.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a busy customer focused or service environment. With demonstrable office experience, and a minimum Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy, you will have a good eye for detail and will be capable of using Microsoft Office to a good standard.
A team player, you will have excellent customer service skills, a professional telephone manner and will be capable of finishing set tasks efficiently and effectively.
