An exciting opportunity has arisen for some more Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support the excellent work of our teaching staff in mainstream curriculum.

We require enthusiastic applicants to support individuals or small groups of students both within and outside of the classroom environment. The successful applicant will be required to work supporting all levels and areas across the whole College up to Level 3 in the main Curriculum areas, with all age groups. Applicants should possess good communication skills along with GCSE English and Maths Grade C or equivalent and either hold the City and Guilds 7321 (CACHE) or be prepared to work towards an appropriate qualification.

We are particularly interested in welcoming applicants who have had previous experience working with young people with challenging behaviour as well as individuals with experience of working with students across the autism spectrum. Care qualifications or previous experience of support work in a similar environment will also be an advantage.

The hours of work will be: 09.00am – 4.30pm (occasionally 5.00pm) term time only, but these hours can be flexible to meet the needs of the right candidate.

We can offer a pleasant working environment, excellent pension scheme, continued professional development and a generous holiday allowance.

The closing date for all applications will be Tuesday 21 August 2018 with interviews held on Tuesday 28 August 2018.

Please note that due to the volume of applications we receive we will only be able to contact candidates who have been selected for interview.

Please note that we do not accept CVs by way of application or online application via other websites, you must complete a Grantham College application form.

All employment offers are subject to a self-funded (£44) satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
