Blackburn College is passionate about innovative teaching and learning practice and committed to growing and developing our provision in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). Our facilities are some of the best in the area with environmental technology workshops, mechanical workshop, electrical laboratories, a mock bungalow, CAD facilities and a real life plant room.
We are looking for someone to be part of our curriculum team, contributing to delivery, planning, development and student support. You will teach on a range of courses at level 1 to level 3 including full time, part time and apprentices. You should possess a level 3 qualification or above (or equivalent) in a related subject and practical experience of working in a plumbing related industry. You will also possess a PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to achieve within 2 years of appointment). A recognised assessor qualification is desirable as is experience of teaching students aged 14 plus.
