Level 2 Assessor - Gas

Blackburn College is passionate about innovative teaching and learning practice and committed to growing and developing our provision in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).  

As a vital member of our Gas Centre team you will be responsible for a case load of learners. You will liaise with learners to plan and undertake assessments in the workplace, deliver high quality training and support and monitor them through all aspects of their apprenticeship/learner journey to ensure timely completion of the Apprenticeship/qualification framework.

With a relevant academic or industry related qualification (e.g. ACS CCN1) qualification and practical experience of working in the Gas industry gained in either a Domestic or Commercial capacity, you will have the enthusiasm to communicate a real passion for your subject. What’s more, you’ll be a highly self-motivated and organised individual with the ability to work to deadlines and meet targets. A teaching qualification to intermediate level, or willingness to work towards one, is essential.
