If so then this could be a perfect role for you! We are Study Group, a global pathway provider in International Education. Durham University International Study Centre has been open for a year, and has seen some fantastic growth. An exciting opportunity has opened at the centre, and we are now interested to find an experienced Visa and Registry Administrator to join the Professional Services Team.

What is this role and where does it fit in?

This is an exciting role that specialises in our Visa and Registry Administration, which offers variety and complexity. This position will support the Visa and Registry Co-ordinator in assuring the centre’s UKVI Compliance and Police registration of students. You will record and maintain student records as well as process student withdrawals, terminations and also changes to their programmes. Additional to this, you will offer support with induction, assessment activities, and Visa extensions. This role is a key part of the Professional Services Team which is a fast paced, focused team that have a real energy to the way they work, whilst also creating a friendly team culture.

What experience do you need?

We are looking for someone that has an excellent attention to detail, is highly organised, and data focused. Ideally, we would like someone to join the team that has previous experience and knowledge of visas and compliance, however transferable skillsets will also be considered. You will need to be able to work under pressure, whilst managing multiple tasks at a time. See below some experience that would definitely get us interested:

  • Knowledge of visas and compliance from working within an education setting.
  • Previous experience working in an Academic Admin/Professional Services function.
  • Excellent Excel capability.
  • Experience using university databases.
  • Student support experience from working in Further or Higher Education.
  • Experience working in an administration focused role.

Where is this role based?

Our Durham University Study Centre is the newest to the Study Group network, recently opening its doors in September last year. Based in the stunning Queens Campus, it is now a fully functional centre full of talented students from across the globe. The centre runs a varied curriculum across the International Foundation, and the Pre-Masters programme. This is an energetic centre, where no day is the same. The centre is right next to the River Tees and the stunning Infinity Bridge.
