You will be a natural leader who can inspire staff to develop and implement the College’s Digital Strategy.

You will be experienced in installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining hardware and software and will have the ability to solve IT related issues on a daily basis.

As an outstanding communicator, you will have experience of developing effective partnerships which have led to the development of IT resources and activity.

Experienced at managing budgets associated with IT and capital expenditure, you will have the ability to design and implement a college IT infrastructure that meets current and future business needs.

Educated to degree level in IT (or a specialist or professional qualification relevant to this area) you will also have a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.

About Role

As the Head of Digital Infrastructure you will lead, develop and implement the College’s digital strategy working with the curriculum management team to ensure that staff have the level of skill required to adopt digital technologies within their practice and enhance the student experience.

You will take a lead on the management, development and maintenance of the College ICT and network infrastructure. You will ensure that this meets current needs and takes account of the future requirements of the College.

You will ensure the safe and reliable running of all ICT systems, in order to maintain an outstanding staff and student user experience.

Leading an ICT technical team, you will build strong relationships and offer advice on new approaches, ensuring that customer needs drive all decisions and processes.
