Leeds City College High Needs team is growing and looking to recruit 5 Level 2 Teaching Assistant Apprentices to work across our 3 main sites. (Technology, Park Lane and Printworks).
You should have some experience of working with SEND students and want to prepare young people for adulthood. You will be able to achieve the L2 NCFE CACHE Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools in 12 to 18 months through this post. You will be supporting High Need Students and those with an EHCP both in and outside of the classroom, delivering a small social support group within our Oasis room and developing resources and training aids for students and staff. The role will be 37 hrs per week for 52 weeks of the year and you will be released to attend your taught sessions alongside meetings with your assessors.
