About You
Are you a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working as part of a team? Are you flexible and open to change? Coventry College are looking for two experienced Additional Learning Support Co-ordinators to join our team.
An excellent communicator, you will provide support to learners with ECHP’s and a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities therefore excellent interpersonal skills will be essential to this role.
Educated to Level 2 in Communication, Literacy, English and Maths, you will also have an appropriate qualification in the field of expertise e.g. Certificate in Learning Support or a teaching qualification.
About the role
In this exciting and key role you will manage transition and enrolment arrangements for students who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
You will also identify the individual learning needs of students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and ensure that they are met within a designated Faculty.
You will track, monitor and review students with Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans and ensure that their support needs are met.
Alongside co-ordinating exam arrangements for a caseload of students you will also prepare and provide timetabled support for a caseload of students with support needs.
This role could be based at either City or Henley campus and at times there may be a requirement to work across both campuses.
