Maintenance Technician – Electrical
Coventry Colleges Estates and Facilities Maintenance Team are vital in ensuring that College operations are run efficiently and smoothly, in order to maintain an excellent working and learning environment for staff and students.
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the College’s Estates and Facilities Team as a Maintenance Technician. You will provide a repair and maintenance service to ensure that all areas of the College are safe to use and are of a high standard. Duties will include carrying out electrical repairs and installation work and the testing and monitoring of portable equipment. You must be flexible in your approach to hours and work, as the job will involve emergency and on call duties.
You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical installations as a minimum as well as a relevant training/qualification in electrical regulations. You will also hold a portable appliance testing qualification or be willing to work towards.
Coventry College has a campus in Bell Green and the City Centre, you must therefore have access to a car and hold a full driving licence and business insurance in order to travel between sites.
