Student Support Mentor

37.5 hours per week (40 working weeks per year)

These are exciting new roles within our established Student Support Team which will focus on supporting student attendance and retention through effective pastoral care.

By working collaboratively with internal teams and external organisations, you will support and guide students from across the curriculum areas to overcome barriers to their engagement and reach their potentials.

You will identify, monitor and support a case load of vulnerable students including looked after children, care leavers and young carers, together with those who have involvement from social care or early help.

The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young people and be able to demonstrate strong self-reliance and resilience.
