The ESOL department at Leeds City College is validated as a grade 1 across all themes. We are one of the largest and most successful providers of ESOL in the UK. We are seeking to appoint inspirational and innovative teachers in ESOL.
This post requires teaching on a Saturday (2.5 or 5 hours can be requested ) in LS7. Evening work is also available for two nights per week from 18.30 to 21.00.
The successful candidate will need experience in teaching English as a second language, from complete beginners to higher levels. Experience of teaching adults in a college setting is essential.
A subject specialist qualification in teaching second language acquisition is required as well as a PGCE. You will be passionate about your subject and have the ability and desire to enthuse others. You will be organised and experienced in course administration and have high expectations of both yourself and your students.
