Careers and Employability Adviser
Do you enjoy and have the experience of working with people of all ages to provide careers advice and guidance? Do you have the knowledge and passion to develop and shape a Careers and Employability service? Can you work flexibly and work as part of a large multi skilled team? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser to join Coventry College.
In this key role you will provide impartial careers guidance including pre-entry, course and progression advice to potential and existing students on a one to one and group basis. Higher Education and UCAS applications are a large part of this role.
Educated to Level 6 Diploma in Careers guidance (or equivalent) with a minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths you will have significant experience providing educational and careers guidance with a range of client / student groups.
With a strong understanding of the current job market and issues on gaining paid employment this will equip you to provide an up to date careers service to our students.
An excellent communicator you will be an expert at delivering careers guidance and employability skills within a range of settings such as one to one, small groups and workshops.
