Hours: 11 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year
Milton Keynes College are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic team player with outstanding industry expertise to join the commercial team as an Executive Beauty Therapist.
The position will be working with the motivated team within the school of Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Hospitality & Events. As the successful candidate, you will be an adaptable individual with outstanding beauty therapy skills.
The Commercial team are looking to appoint enthusiastic, self-motivated professional who has a genuine desire to provide a high quality service to a broad range of beauty clientele.This exciting position will include running your own column, meeting a wide range of clients’ needs, meeting and exceeding salon targets in the busy Graduate Salon.
The successful candidate will be part of our lively and friendly team and will be trained to a Level 2 and 3 standard.You will be a professional, hardworking individual with a keen interest in working with a dedicated and passionate team of professionals in our fantastic Graduate salon facility. The Graduate Hair & Beauty salon is open to the public providing a wide variety of services to clients allowing our students to learn in a creative and realistic environment and therefore understand the full client experience.
As the successful candidate you will have:
A level 2 and 3 beauty therapy qualification to include Body Massage
Proven work experience in a salon or spa environment
Strong industry experience
A good working knowledge and awareness of a broad range of beauty practices and principles
The ability to meet tight deadlines and have the ability to see tasks through to a successful conclusion
Computer literate, to level 2, and willing to improve their IT skills
Good English and maths skills, to level 2, and be willing to continuously improve these
The ability to be organised and able to work independently as well as within a team
Excellent customer service and communication skills
