This is a part-time post, but we require someone able to work Monday to Friday.

Your new role
Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, you will be working within a small team that is responsible for the financial control and processing for the whole College. You will be responsible for administering the purchase ledger and the College’s sales ledger, including tuition fees, and reconciling all control and bank accounts.

What you'll need to succeed
As you will be part of a small team, it is essential for you to have previous experience working within a finance department, and have the confidence to work alone.

You will either need to be part qualified CCAB accountant, fully qualified AAT, or qualified by experience. You must have well-developed spreadsheet skills, and experience of accounting packages.

Effective interpersonal skills with customers, suppliers, students and staff at all levels within the organisation, as well as flexibility and attention to detail are essential to this role. You will also need to have excellent organisational skills.
