Nottingham College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Head of IT Services to manage the College IT teams covering both the infrastructure and support of IT. The role will be hands on and the successful candidate will have a huge say on the future direction that the College IT takes. The role is responsible for defining, implementing and managing the infrastructure across the Colleges campuses and in addition will be expected to deliver a first-class customer experience and support service.

This opportunity comes at an exciting time for ICT in the College as it embarks on a wholescale project to become a truly digital organisation and rapidly transitions to become a data driven, cloud-based institution that can offer our students and staff an innovative environment in which to work.  Alongside the drive to become a digital college the successful candidate will also be heavily involved in delivering excellent IT facilities in the College’s new Skills Hub based in the heart of Nottingham and due to open in September 2020.

We are looking for a committed and solutions-oriented IT professional with experience managing large scale IT operations and with a strong background in managing projects and diverse teams. The role also involves managing a substantial budget and ensuring that best value procurement processes are followed to control the costs to the organisation.  An individual capable of putting forward innovative solutions across the whole IT portfolio the successful candidate will, with the Chief Digital Officer, define the digital future for the College.

The closing date is 11pm on Sunday 19th August.

Interviews are scheduled for the week commencing 10th September.
