Fixed term contract until end of July 2019, 25.9 hours per week.
We are looking to hire a skilled and knowledgeable Dance Tutor to provide supervision of our curriculum area, ensuring that you meet budget, quality and operational targets. You will deliver high quality, learner-focused education and provide a secure and friendly environment in order for your students to succeed. In your role you will plan, lead and develop the curriculum area within the establishment to ensure compliance with the national curriculum framework, the integration of functional skills, best practice and quality targets.
- You will cover both HNC and FE curriculum.
- Essential skills: contemporary dance; movement for actors; professional dance experience; teaching experience.
- Desirable Skills: Site Specific; choreography; experience of BTEC 2010 specification/HNC QCF specification.; PGCE; rolling DBS.
We are looking for a Tutor with a demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivering in the subject specialism.
