Contracts and Compliance Officer

Peterborough Regional College is a large, successful college of further and higher education. Based in the Employer Services and Apprenticeship Academy, we have a vacancy for a full time permanent Contracting and Compliance Officer. Working closely with the Operations Director you will coordinate the areas subcontractors’ partner and managing agents.

This is varied role and will include liaising with external providers, apprentices and employers so being able to prioritise and respond to changes is essential, along with data analytical skills. You will lead on developing systems, processes and related documentations to ensure for apprentices, employers and contracting organisations therefore knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules is essential.

The working hours will usually be 8.30 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on Friday. However, the working hours will vary on occasions dependent on the needs of the College. This position will be based at our Peterborough Park Crescent site.

The successful candidate will have experience of databases and of implementing systems to monitor contract performance and compliance. A good level of education to a minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths and IT skills are essential. This is a customer facing role therefore you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
