Sessional Lecturers, BA(Hons) Digital Television Production

Digital Television Production at Ravensbourne focuses on developing students into multi-skilled TV graduates with the skills and knowledge to produce studio and location based productions.

Students learn technical skills through the completion of hands-on, practical work. They also learn about the production process including research, development, script-writing, production management, producing, directing, presentation and pitching skills. The course also explores multi-platform and interactive TV.

Sessional lecturers help to bring a diversity of skills experience to the teaching team. The role includes conducting tutorials, delivering lectures, assessment, and contributing to course content. The role is casual, with hours to be discussed on appointment.

The successful candidates will be established TV professionals wishing to take on additional work in higher education. Fields of experience could include Producing, Directing, Production Management, TV Development, Camera Operating, Lighting, Sound Recording, Studio Operations, Steadicam, Editing/ Post-Production. We would be interested in hearing from candidates with any role within the TV Industry.

Candidates will ideally have previous teaching experience although this is not essential.
