Human Resources Advisor (Maternity Cover)

Full time (8.30am to 5.00pm), fixed term to cover maternity leave.

Working in a small team, you will provide a high quality HR service which supports and advises managers to ensure that the HR policies are properly and consistently implemented. It is a generalist role encompassing all aspects of human resources including sickness absence, supporting Employee Relations casework and recruitment initiatives across departments.  You may also lead on a range of projects/developments as agreed with the HR Manager.

You will be either fully or part CIPD accredited and have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and professional HR issues. You must be able to demonstrate experience in a range of generalist HR areas, including recruitment campaigns, complex disciplinary and grievance issues and HR processes; working with stake-holders resolving situations quickly and effectively and advising managers and employees on a range of generalist HR queries. Working on projects with set outcomes and timescales from an HR perspective. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, along with the ability to build good working relationships with your key line managers. As we are a small and busy team it is essential that you are flexible and willing to cover for other team members as needed.
