Nescot College is a highly successful education and skills provider, recognised for their high quality education provision, innovative practice and entrepreneurial culture. The college has enjoyed a strong reputation over many years and has established exemplary apprenticeship delivery not only within Surrey and the south east but nationally via a network of partners. Our aim is to become the market leader for employer facing provision in the occupational routes we offer.

Through our new Business Centre, we will develop, market and deliver comprehensive, end to end training solutions for businesses, customised to suit the needs of individual employers and delivered in a creative, vibrant manner.

We are seeking an inspirational leader who will create sales and marketing strategies with real impact to establish us as the first choice provider within the region and beyond. Through cultivating a strong external profile and leading on strategic business development, the Director of Sales and Marketing will grow market share in apprenticeships, HE, Full-time and bespoke delivery, increase income and foster a reputation of excellence. The new post holder will also provide senior and strategic interaction between the sales element of the Business Centre and the physical delivery of our apprenticeship standards and frameworks and other offerings.

The successful candidate will have senior leadership experience in sales and marketing, preferably (but not necessarily) within an education and skills provider, with a successful track record of leading significant business growth and developing new markets. Extensive, in-depth experience of apprenticeships, with a robust knowledge of current developments including the Levy and reforms, is essential. However, we do also see this as an opportunity to bring on board talent from a variety of backgrounds and are therefore happy to consider applications from outside the learning and skills sector.
