The purpose of this rewarding role is to make a significant contribution to the effective delivery of the curriculum, in line with the College’s Quality Improvement Strategy and to ensure a high quality and relevant learning experience for all students on the course/s.

You will be required to teach Mechanical Maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics units from multiple awarding bodies and to assess students in accordance with the requirements of the programme. In addition, you will also be responsible for developing programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of learners, employers and in line with Awarding Body and Quality Assurance requirements.    

The qualifications deemed essential for this post are a Level 3 or above in subject specific area,  minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C) and a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or willingness to undertake within an agreed timescale. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
