Working week: Monday to Friday 7.45am - 4.45pm (1.45pm finish Fridays), 40 hours per week
Ramfoam are on an exciting journey and growing rapidly. We are looking to invest in Apprentices as the business expands.
Whilst many of the jobs are repetitive there is sufficient variety to sustain interest including CNC machining and CAD CAM manufacturing. We have just made some expansion joints for the Qatar world cup stadiums!
The company is small enough where your efforts will not go unnoticed, and you have the chance to join a growing firm. The canteen and welfare facilities are good and the workplace a nice environment to be. The teams are friendly and there is a good work atmosphere.
The apprentice position will work inside the operations team learning different processes and moving from area to area over the course of the year. To succeed, the candidate will need to demonstrate good work ethic understanding that profitability of the company depends on the discipline of the workforce in producing goods to a high standard on time.
Full training will be given both in company and on a day release basis at Dudley College throughout the Apprenticeship.

Training:
Performing Engineering Operations Apprenticeship.
- Full training will be provided on an ongoing daily basis and when required.
- You will be required to attend college premises 1 day a week working towards a PEO qualification.
- An assessor will be allocated to you to progress/help you through you course. Continual assessment for NVQ’s coupled with assignments/or exams depending on course of study.
- Time spent training will be part of the agreed contracted hours of the working week.
- Functional Skills if required
