Faculty Manager in Construction

Within this role you will form part of the College’s leadership team reporting directly to the Academic Director. As Faculty Manager for Construction, you will manage a team of approximately 30 staff spanning across sectors such as, Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, Brickwork and Carpentry. You will lead and inspire your teams to provide excellent teaching and learning and an outstanding experience for learners across FE, Apprenticeships and HE; be accountable for success measures for students, your team and the College. The success of learners and the drive for continual improvement will be your key driver. You will provide outstanding strategic and operational management of the Faculty through effective leadership of the development, planning, delivery and monitoring of the curriculum and of the learner experience.
This is a fantastic development opportunity within the FE Sector which will be both rewarding and challenging. Essential requirements are a Level 5 teaching qualification, a degree in the relevant industry and experience. The panel will also look for the candidate to demonstrate evidence of high quality teaching and experience of managing or leading a team of people.
