We are looking to recruit a full time permanent Centre Coordinator for our Netherfield campus, one of our sites across Sussex through which we deliver a diverse curriculum to our students. Teaching provision is managed by subject specific Curriculum Managers and service aspects of the centre are managed through the role of Centre Coordinator.

This is a key role in which you will coordinate the resource, security, site development, administration and student welfare aspects of the college’s provision at Netherfield. Working closely with academic and support teams you will ensure that the student experience mirrors the experience of that within our Main Campus at Plumpton. This will include delivery to a range of key performance indicators aimed to ensure that we deliver the best possible experience for our students.

We are seeking an individual who has recent experience of working with young people in a supportive role and a thorough understanding of the issues that affect student welfare. You will also demonstrate the ability to maintain and develop high standards within the workplace, undertaking any required interventions and delivering change management as required. With exceptional communications skills, you will be confident in engaging with staff and students alike. A key requirement of this role is to reside onsite.

As well as a competitive salary, you can also look forward to a great range of benefits including 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme, child care voucher scheme and free on-site parking. The accomodation offered with this role comprises a house.

With over 3,000 students, excellent resources and a drive for continuous improvement, Plumpton College is actively seeking staff who want to make a difference and be part of this exciting phase of our development. At Plumpton College we are ambitious and progressive, enterprising, professional, supportive and passionate about everything we do – if you share these values and would like to be part of our growing team then we’d like to hear from you!
