Hourly Skills Trainer Assessor - Customer Service
Peterborough Regional College is a large, successful college of further and higher education. We currently have a variable hours opportunity for a Skills Trainer Assessor in Customer Service. In this role you will act as the main point of contact for the apprentices and employers providing guidance, support and technical knowledge to develop the apprentices and ensure successful achievement.
The working hours will be variable but could be up to one day per week. However, your hours will vary on occasion dependent on the needs of the employers and their apprentices and you will therefore need to have a flexible approach.
The successful candidate will have a good level of education to a minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths, along with a vocationally relevant qualification at a minimum of Level 3 coupled with recent and relevant industry experience. Ideally you will also hold an assessing and or IQA qualification but this is not essential as the College will support you in achieving this as part of your professional development.
You will be a motivated, self-starter with the highest level of commitment to securing timely apprenticeship achievement. You need to be confident in working autonomously and working away from the College site whilst maintaining a professional approach at all times. You will be a strong collaborator with exceptional communication skills (both verbally and written) as you will work closely with curriculum leads, tutors and employers.
