Skills Trainer Assessor - Electrical Installations

In this role you will be providing training, assessing and mentoring support to apprentices to achieve an Apprenticeship framework. You will deliver and develop training programmes which are responsive to learner and employer needs and assess the competence of work-based candidates on QCF programmes against national standards. You will visit learners in the workplace to ensure progression of learning aims and undertake apprentice sign-ups with employers as necessary.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Electrician hold as a minimum a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations or equivalent. You will hold Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, and ideally you will hold a Level 3 TAQA Assessor‘s Award or equivalent, however we will help support you to gain the TAQA qualification in-house. You will have recent and relevant experience of working within the Electrical contractor industry and experience of producing and presenting information and reports using a variety of methods.

You will also have experience of planning, executing and evaluating activities. You will also need a full driving licence to undertake assessments across the region. If you have exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritise and coordinate efficiently, this may be the right role for you. You will be a self-starter, who can quickly develop a good rapport with a variety of people.
