We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and inspirational Learning & Assessment Officer, to work at our construction centre.

The purpose of this rewarding role is to provide training, assessment of competence, guidance and support to learners on the College’s Work Based Learning (WBL) programme.
You will be responsible for delivering off the job training and assessment of learners in the workplace, along with formal classroom or workshop based teaching as required. You will also be required to develop agreed programmes, ensuring they meet the needs of learners, employers and in line with Awarding Body and Quality Assurance requirements.
The qualifications deemed essential for this post are Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in construction, minimum of Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C) and an NVQ Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
