This is a really exciting new opportunity for the right person! We are looking for an individual to design, co-ordinate and oversee the delivery of large – scale ‘conference’ style events to address topics such as employability skills, life skills and wellbeing. These events will involve large numbers of students and will form part of the brand new Student CPD and Enrichment Programme. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and support services to develop the programme for students to support their personal development. The post-holder will also be responsible for promoting cross college student engagement activities, including working with the Students Union and Student Council, to enhance the student experience.
With a good standard of education, you will have experience in working in a team and leading on large-scale projects, including budget management. You will have a proven track record of working with young people and have a thorough knowledge of enrichment opportunities and activities. You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to relate to a broad range of students in different cohorts. The successful candidate will also have a track record of effective networking and relationship-building with external stakeholders and engaging with them to deliver services to young people.
Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield, Newcastle and Penrith.
