Teaching Assistant

Full and part-time (37 hours and 22.5 hours) opportunities.

Term time only, 12 month fixed-term contract.

CRC's Supported Learning Department prides itself on its friendly, welcoming and aspirational approach to supporting young people preparing for their adult lives.

Due to growth in student numbers, opportunities have arisen for Teaching Assistants to join our team at CRC's Huntingdon Campus. You will have an important role to play, supporting the education, health and care needs of young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties.

You will be supporting young learners on a 1:1 basis or in a group setting and you may be involved in a range of lessons, including Maths, English, Horticulture, Farming, Music and Art.

You will need to have a calm, patient and empathetic approach and be qualified in Literacy and Numeracy to Level 2 or equivalent. PTTLS and/or a teaching support qualification is desirable, but not essential.

We have a number of full time roles available, one of which will require a male TA due to the specific needs of a learner.

Ideally you will have an education or care background and a willingness to learn and develop further support skills.
