Health & Social Care is one of the largest departments in this highly successful Further Education College. We currently follow the BTEC specification. The department is a Grade 1 area with exceptional success rates. We would like to build upon this and appoint an adaptable, innovative and student centred hourly paid lecturer who can motivate and support our learners.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join a team of experienced Health & Social Care lecturers teaching Level 3 learners across Year 1 and 2.
Lecturers in the Health & Social Care Department work closely together following a common programme and using a variety of methods. The department is well resourced and the team is supportive. Emphasis is placed on sharing best practice and liaising over schemes of work.
