Teacher/Lecturer in Games Development

Are you an enthusiastic Games Industry professional, with a passion for teaching and learning, who can inspire young people and help them achieve their goals?

This is a great opportunity to join a highly skilled and committed teaching team, with many years’ experience of working within this exciting field and engaging with external partners. The College is highly committed to excellence in teaching and learning in order to ensure every student realises their full potential.

Based at our City Campus, you’ll teach on our Level 2 and Level 3 UAL Games Design courses, whilst actively contributing to the development and delivery of our growing range of Foundation Degree programmes in Computing/Games Design. These increasingly popular courses already attract a good number of students and we anticipate that provision will only continue to grow, as we seek to help develop the next generation of games designers.

Holding a Foundation Degree in Games and ideally able to demonstrate relevant design/development experience, you should have the ability to teach across a range of areas, spanning Levels 2 and 3 and possibly Foundation Degree programmes. In terms of technical know-how, you’ll understand how the industry works inside out and have practical expertise in games programming, the development of mobile apps and Adobe Photoshop, as well as at least one game engine…or at the very least, a willingness to learn!

See what we have to offer and come join us. You won’t be disappointed.
