The Department of Business, Technology, Digital and Creative Industries at the University Centre Doncaster is recruiting to the new post of Curriculum Performance and Development Manager. The post-holder will provide leadership for the department in implementing its strategic curriculum development objectives and ensuring its performance targets are achieved.
The Department has a vibrant portfolio of programmes in Creative and Digital Industries, Engineering and Construction, Leadership and Management, and Professional Development. The Department offers a range of Higher Education qualifications that are designed to meet workforce requirements for high-priority economic growth areas in local industry: Honours Degrees, Foundation Degrees, HNCs and HNDs, and Masters Degrees.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful academic leadership and management in College Based Higher Education and an outstanding record of successful programme development that meets local workforce needs in at least one of the following: Engineering and Construction, Creative and Digital Industries, Leadership and Management. Experience of working with Higher Apprenticeship Standards is desirable.
Applicants should have a Masters qualification in a subject that is commensurate with the Department’s curriculum portfolio, a PGCE and proven track record of outstanding teaching, a secure understanding of HE quality assurance requirements and processes, and experience of implementing quality enhancement initiatives to support improvements to the student learning experience.
