We are Study Group, a global pathway provider in International Education. Due to exciting change and growth, our University of Surrey International Study Centre are introducing a brand new role. What is this role and where does it fit in?

This is a brand new role that reports directly to the Centre Director. The role will provide leadership on quality and academic innovation at the Centre, ensuring that the Centre adheres to relevant academic policies, procedures and quality frameworks; and that new products are developed and introduced to the portfolio of courses. The post holder will be the key partnership interface between the Centre and the University and also with the Provider, in matters relating to Quality and Enhancement. This role also requires line management of the Progression and Transition Coordinator, with a dotted line into three other relevant staff.

What experience do you need?

We are looking for an action orientated, strategic thinker, that has a clear commitment in excellence and teaching. The right candidate will be someone that thrives from innovation and has creative ideas. If you have experience in some of the below then we would certainly be interested:

  • Leadership and management experience for quality assurance within a teaching and learning environment, with evidence of significant success.
  • Experience of teaching at levels 4 and above in UK higher or further education
  • Experience of teaching international students
  • Experience of planning and running complex education courses and programmes
  • Experience of leading and facilitating academic change within quality assurance frameworks of to quality codes.
  • Experience of partnership working or partnership management in the education sector.

Where is this role based?

Our University of Surrey International Study Centre, based in Guildford, is based in the heart of a beautiful campus that is extremely picturesque with a calm, peaceful atmosphere. The centre offers an International Foundation programme, a Pre-Masters programme, and English language preparation courses. There are a variety of pathways offered on both programmes as well as a variety of students from all across the globe.
