Administration tasks across most areas of the business based in the Milton Keynes office enabling the employee to gain a wide variety of knowledge and skills. There is the option to specialise in certain areas if required.
Responsibilities:
HR:
- Support the HR Manager
- Assist with HR Administration
- Order weekly groceries
- Order Mirka workwear, PPE and stationery
- Book lunches for internal business meetings
- Book hotels and travel as and when required
- Book training courses
- Assist with company vehicle administration
Mirka UK Training Centre:
- Administration of attendees
- Shared calendar/ Eventbrite invites to delegates
- Visitor Management system
- Room bookings
- Room set up prior to meetings
- Order refreshments
Health & Safety:
- Assist with weekly fire alarm tests and safety walkarounds
- Issue appointments for company massage
Accounts:
- Running Statements once a month (1st)
- Printing off Remittances and logging them against the appropriate account
- Credit Alerts – updating credit limits to the system
- Sending out new account forms and setting up new accounts, once Credit Checks have been completed and the account reviewed.
- Account Maintenance
IT - CRM: Data Quality work
- Running reports.
- Correcting problems
- Identifying common issues
IT - CRM: Salesperson’s activity Audit
- Running reports
- Interpreting data
- Scoring based on defined criteria
IT - Updating & Maintaining hardware inventory
Marketing
- Creating Training certificates
- Review publications for press cuttings, scan & add to MirkaNet
- Sending out of marketing material
- Assist with organizing Mirka events – and attending events (depending on age, I assume we would need to ask for parent /guardian consent)
- Create and implement internal online surveys – following company business meetings
- Involvement with Webshop administration
General Duties
- Posting letters and parcels, taking in deliveries
- Answering the reception door bell
- Carry out any other reasonable management request
- Increase competence and skills through training
- Achieve Training Goals
- Attend meetings when required
