Can you achieve challenging targets? Do you enjoy building relationships?

Can you build recruitment strategies around data trends and market analysis? Are you creative and able to manage a variety of projects? Can you communicate and motivate young people?

If so, then this is the vacancy for you! We are looking for a School Liaison Co-ordinator to join our School Liaison and Careers Team.

This is a very exciting position and requires a confident and enthusiastic individual who will be target driven and be able to work proactively to recruit school leavers to the College.

As School Liaison Co-ordinator, you will manage a small team who attend schools as the first point of contact and account managers for those schools.

Working to challenging objectives and deadlines, you will be accountable for school leaver recruitment across the College, as well as organising recruitment events, such as Taster Days and other activities/projects that benefit our prospective students. As such, you will be expected to work with a range of external beneficiaries to develop new initiatives and deliver activities that aim to raise the College's profile amongst these key target audiences.

The role does include some evening work (additional one weeks' leave is granted to the staff within the team to compensate for this), and you must have a full UK driving licence and access to own transport due to the nature of this position.

This is an exciting time to join Weston College. The College is Ofsted 'Outstanding', its Higher Education provision is graded 'Gold' by the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF), and Weston College has recently won the Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education, one of only two Further Education colleges in the country to be awarded this prestigious honour. Furthermore, the College is an Investors in People 'Champion' and has been awarded 'Gold' by Investors in People, which demonstrates Weston College's commitment to invest in our staff to improve performance.

Weston College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Please be aware that Weston College reserves the right to close this vacancy early should sufficient applications be received.
