The College has an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer to join our Alternative Provision Team, which includes 14-16, working with EHCP entitled learners and those out of employment or education.
The role involves working across both our campuses. You will take responsibility for the teaching and learning, organisation and delivery of courses within our alternative provision programmes, providing tutorial support for a growing number of 14 - 16 students as well as across the other provision. It will include delivering high quality teaching and learning in a range of disciplines. This is a busy and demanding teaching role and you will have the opportunity to use all of your experience and teaching skills to transform the learning skills of our students to equip them for further technical and vocational study.
Candidates should have experience of working with students in alternative provision and preferably experience of working in aschool or college environment. Excellent teaching skills, the ability to engage and motivate challenging learners and the ability to communicate effectively are essential.
