Weston College's Advanced Engineering and Computing Faculty is going from strength-to-strength and is looking to recruit several new Lecturers in Engineering as it prepares to expand the Faculty. As a Faculty, we are looking to recruit enthusiastic and knowledgeable people with strong engineering backgrounds. If you are either an aspiring engineering lecturer on a journey to outstanding or working in industry and looking to move in to education, Weston College could be the place for you. If you have an industrial background and the potential to become a lecturer of the future, then we have an excellent 'Industry to Education' training programme that would support you to retrain whilst working for the College.

We are looking for aspiring Lecturers that can specialise in the following area:

  • Mechanical/Manufacturing.

As post-holder, we can offer you:

  • An earning potential of up to £36,000 per annum, including our market rate supplement.
  • 48 days of holiday leave, inclusive of bank holidays and college closures.
  • Training allowance of up to £5,000 towards teacher training qualifications.
  • A generous Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS).
