Farm Stockman

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our farm team. You will be responsible for the day to day operation of our Beef Unit and adherence to high quality commercial standards. Duties will include the cleaning of housing and disposal of slurry waste; assist calving, foot trimming, administration of medication and a range of mechanized operations across the estate. You will also be expected to support other areas of the farm enterprise as required during the year and ensure feed programmes are implemented as agreed.

You will have previous experience of working in a similar role on a farm or estate. You will be passionate about high standards and quality and be committed to the highest standards of safety. You will be a confident communicator and able to deal with a variety of people including, college staff, suppliers and students appropriately. In addition you will be a confident user of IT systems.
