Lecturer in Plumbing

The Construction Faculty is one of the country’s foremost providers of Further and Higher Education for the industry. With around 800 full time and 1500 part time students studying everything from apprenticeships to Management and Civil Engineering, we have a lot to offer and be proud of. 

We are also the lead partner for a number of exciting projects and are developing a national profile that is hard to beat, having been awarded the Training Quality Standard (TQS) for our work with employers we are ‘raising the bar’ for local training and have ambitious plans for the future. 

In this role you will lecture and assess on a range of Plumbing Programmes including NVQ and Technical Certificates. Our provision in this area ranges from Entry level to level 3 so you will need a broad range of skills. You should possess relevant site experience, either commercial or industrial, and demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning, always putting the learner first and ensuring their success.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant Plumbing qualification (either NVQ level 2/3 or other equivalent Level 2/3 qualification) and also hold a recognised teaching qualification for example, PGCE or Certificate in Education.
