Student Support Workers

We are currently seeking Student Support Workers to join our expanding team. We have a variety of part time hours available, together with a number of zero hours contracts where hours are offered in line with business needs. A flexible approach to working hours is required with our zero hours contracts.

In this role you will be responsible for working with learners who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities to enable them to access their course. Working within a busy classroom environment, you will adopt a range of methods to support learner needs to enable their continued learning potential leading to greater retention and achievement. You will use your skills to mentor and guide students in their learning, helping them stay focused in their work, liaising with tutors on planned support for the lesson and throughout the scheme of work, and actively seek opportunities to promote their self esteem, confidence and independence.

To be considered for this role you must have experience of supporting others and hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths. You will have also been a strong team player and have effective communication and interpersonal skills along with a professional approach in dealing with others.
