An enthusiastic and motivated individual is required to work within the School of Construction. You must have a background in Brickwork but with a range of general construction skills to work within the Multi-skills curriculum.
Principle responsibilities are to organise to meet the needs of the student and the examining/validating body in liaison with the Program Manager. You will also motivate, encourage and monitor students to ensure that they achieve their full potential and maximise the career opportunities from the qualifications they gain whilst at Coventry College.
You must have a background in Brickwork but with a range of general construction skills to work within the Multi-skills curriculum. You should be someone who enjoys working with young people with a desire to pass on your skills and knowledge.
You will need to demonstrate a good understanding and knowledge of the Construction industry, and hold relevant Health & Safety qualifications.
The successful candidate must have:
• A relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 or above
• Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (or be willing to work towards during the probationary period)
• Level 5 teaching qualification (DET/DTTLS/PCGE) or Level 3 with a willingness to work towards Level 5
• Have experience of working in an FE or similar environment
