Working week: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, 37.5 hours per week

Are you looking to start a career in Engineering? Do you enjoy problem solving and doing practical activities? Santa Maria based in Milton Keynes are looking for an Engineering apprentice where you will receive training and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Competently carry out a variety of technical duties under supervision
  • Demonstrate a logical and practical approach to tasks
  • Take opportunities to learn new technical skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Complete all tasks including paperwork accurately, to a high standard and on time
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude at all times
  • Demonstrate a good level of communication skills verbally and in writing
  • Maintain health and safety standards at all times
  • Work harmoniously with others, helping to generate a positive team atmosphere
  • Have a strong work ethic, able to get on with people of all levels, be a team player, be practical and demonstrate a logical practical approach to tasks

Training:

  • Apprenticeship Standard for Engineering Technician, following Maintenance & Technical Support pathway
  • College attendance
  • Regular visits from the College into the workplace
  • Observations and assessments in the workplace
  • End Point Assessment
  • Ongoing training and support from the College and employer
