We require people who are self-motivated, have good manual dexterity and problem solving skills. The job will require hands on skills that will then be developed into a technical engineering support role based at Milton Keynes within Production, Development, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Design, Customer Support/Service and Supply Chain/Purchasing. The successful applicant will develop into a top class Engineer with a developed knowledge and understanding of all technical support elements of the business as well as a solid foundation in the Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic engineering disciplines employed within the Niftylift product range.
During the 4 year programme, students will develop their practical skills and engineering knowledge in the role of Trainee Technical Support Technician and on successful completion of the training programme/apprenticeship, full time employment may be offered.

Desired qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent): Grade 4 (C) or above including Maths, English and Science
- This position is suitable for all school leavers and predicted grades will be acceptable
Training:
The Level 3 Diploma will be delivered on a day release basis, and will include the following units. These units will be delivered as a mix of workshop and classroom training, with an emphasis on the development of practical skills.
Learners would complete the Engineering Technician Standard (code ST0457/01) and complete the following qualifications:
- EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) 601/7179/0
- EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering - Technical Support (Development Competence) 603/2290/1
- EAL Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) 603/1353/5
