Tutor/Assessor Construction & The Built Environment

We are looking for a flexible and motivated individual with drive and enthusiasm to join our Construction & the Built Environment Apprenticeship Team.  

In this role you will lecture and assess on the Construction & the Built Environment HNC and Level 3 Apprenticeship frameworks.

The successful candidate will be educated to HNC/D or degree level and also hold a recognised teaching qualification for example, PGCE or Certificate in Education and a relevant Assessing qualification.

You should possess relevant site experience, either commercial or industrial, and demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to teaching, learning and assessing, always putting the learner first and ensuring their success. 

A particular expertise in any one of the professional pathways in the Construction & Built Environment framework will be required:

  • Civil.
  • Construction.
  • Built Environment.

Nottingham College Services is a subsidiary company of Nottingham College, and as such the terms and conditions of employment are different, the main differences being:

  • 30 days paid leave per year, made up of 22 days annual leave and 8 bank/public holidays. 
  • You will be eligible to receive company sick pay for up to 20 days and statutory sick pay thereafter.
  • You will be provided with details of a personal pension plan which you can access.
