Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Milton Keynes College offender learning provision have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Quality Lead to join our South Central Education team.

As a Regional Quality Lead, you will support the development and implementation of quality improvement processes and practices for use within the South Central OLASS region. The Regional Quality Lead is responsible for driving quality initiatives whilst supporting managers, practitioners and teaching staff within the prison education system.

Regional Quality Lead are responsible for line managing the regions Advanced Learning Practitioners, Supporting IQRs (Internal Quality Review), supporting managers, overseeing quality improvement plans as well as the development and training of teaching staff across the South Central Region.

The Regional Quality Lead is a key role for the region to drive excellence, and lead on quality improvement in the region by developing, implementing & monitoring areas for improvement and deliver advancement in learner success.

The requirement of this role is to work across the whole prison estate, on all wings where education is delivered.

As a successful candidate, you will:

Proven education experience with consistent outstanding practice

Evidence of providing support/training for teachers to provide high quality effective learning experiences

Hold a teaching qualification and ideally Assessor/Verifier awards.

Have a degree or equivalent qualification.

Have well developed organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Have experience of effectively implementing and managing quality improvement processes.

Leading the Self-Assessment process and a track record in the management of quality improvement with evidence of raising standards

Experience of developing strategies to improve student success, particularly in English and maths

Experience of providing training for the observation of teaching and learning and providing training for the observation team

Evidence of using the Common Inspection Framework to develop innovative staff development to promote outstanding practice

Experience of delivering high quality & innovative LDD curriculum
