Sports Lecturer

The Role

To teach and contribute to the teaching of a range of sports qualifications as part of the Care, sports & Protective services department. To support the curriculum development of the Sports course. To promote and safeguard the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults that s/he is responsible for or comes into contact with.

The successful applicant will be experienced educator with a passion for delivering student success and driven to deliver continuous improvement.  You will have a demonstrable track record in delivering innovative and creative teaching and learning and an up to date in depth knowledge of curriculum delivery. 

With QTLS status or working towards it, you will have a relevant degree, a teaching qualification and evidence of CPD.  You will also have:

• Industrial experience or willingness to obtain.
• A demonstrable ability to use inspiring teaching methods, produce engaging teaching materials and maintain up-to-date schemes of work.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• A commitment to the ethos of team work.
• Maths & English qualifications at level 2 or above.
